Eulice was born on January 29th, 1934, to Eulice A. Gaudette and Catherine Barnette.

Eulice attended and graduated from BFA Fairfax Highschool, following this he went into the military, U.S. ARMY and then into the U.S. Air Force. Eulice grew up on the family farm and worked hard his entire life. Eulice was an avid antique collector and loved finding new items to add to his collection from lamps to tools and much more. He was an active member of the Catholic Church community and St. Amadeus Parish. He was kind, funny, giving and down-to-earth to anyone he knew. Eulice loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed the many visits with his grandchildren.

Eulice is survived by his children, Kevin Gaudette and his wife Kim, David Gaudette and his wife Lisa, Mary Sanderson and her husband Donald; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Eulice was predeceased by his parents, and his wife Doris Gaudette; brothers, Richard and Robert Gaudette.

Connie was born in Newport Vermont on March 7, 1933 to the late George and Georgiana (Brien) Morin. On August 23, 1958 Connie married Claude Desrochers.

Claude and Connie were familiar faces on the Lake Road. Their home was always open to everyone and anyone that stopped by, day or night. And you seldom left their home without something to eat that Connie prepared and of course brought to you at the table while you sat and chatted!! Her most popular meal that many in the area had the privilege of enjoying was her breakfast – and she always knew everyone's favorite.

Connie's whole purpose and her greatest joy was her family – her children, her grandchildren, her great grandchildren who affectionately called her Memere/Old Memere. The moments that brought her most joy was a holiday gathering surrounded by her family. Connie's greatest accomplishment, according to her, was that her grandchildren never saw a day care. The only day care they went to was Memere's house. She even played a significant role in raising numerous grand dogs. In her younger years she enjoyed going to Florida for a week to see her sister and brother-in-law, playing bingo and going to Vegas. She is survived by her children, Denise Daigle and her husband, Jim, Dennis Desrochers and his partner Mary Blake, DeAnn Meunier – her grandchildren: James Desrochers and Sam, Nicholas Daigle and Kealey, Benjamin Meunier and Jessica, David Desrochers and Amber, Katelyn Meunier and Justin - her great grandchildren: Brody Daigle, Nora and Robert Meunier, Emmett, Oliver and Aiden Desrochers, Waylon and Lacey Shattuck, Penelope Longe. Her Sister Lillian Wheeler Brother in laws Richard and Real Desrochers Sister in law Rita LeBlanc. She was predeceased by her husband Claude, son in law Robert Meunier siblings, Jay Bennett, Homer and Ernest Morin sister in law Claudette Chaput brother in law Roland Desrochers mother and father in law Oscar and Yvonne Desrochers.

Connie was one of the most unselfish, kind, caring, forgiving women on this planet and she will be remembered and missed for years to come.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 11:00AM at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery.

He was born in Shelburne, Nova Scotia, on Nov. 10, 1909, the son of Melvin and Alberta Turpin. He was one of nine children.

Mr. Turpin came to the United States in 1927 and became a citizen in 1942, residing in Massachusetts.

He moved to Plainfield, Vt., in 1943 and was a stonecutter in Barre at the J. P. Hinman Co. until 1953, when he moved to California and began a landscaping business and did security work for K mart stores.

Mr. Turpin returned to Vermont in 1976 and made his home in Tunbridge until May of this year, when he returned to Bakersfield.

He enjoyed working with his hands, making chairs, tables and birdhouses, and working in the Vermont woods on his tractor.

He leaves his wife of 57 years Lillian (Boardman) Turpin of Bakersfield; two daughters, Beverleen "Lynn" Harlow of Quechee, and Janet Richards of Bakersfield, Calif; a brother, John of Ontario, Canada; four sisters, Marie Shepard of Northboro, Mass., Sue of Montreal, Margaritte Churchill of Shelburne, Nova Scotia, and Janet of Cape Cod. Another daughter, Dianna Lee Turpin, died in 1943; a son, Melvin Augustus Turpin, died in June of this year; and a stepson Donald Perkins, died in 1982. He was also predeceased by a sister, Louella, and two brothers, Frank Turpin and George Turpin.

A memorial service will be held in Bakersfield at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to David's House, Box 768, Hanover, N.H. 03755.
