She was born on Aug. 22, 1916, in Sutton, Quebec, the daughter of John and Edna (Hopson) Bolestridge. She attended schools in Sutton and in 1954 moved to Richford, Vt. She had made her home in Vernon since 1978. She was a member of the South Vernon Advent Church and held a strong affection for animals and flowers. In 1932, she married John Milton. He died in 1967. She leaves two daughters, Betty Chamberlin of Vernon and Jeanne Mansur of Vernon; Three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the South Vernon Advent Church. Burial will follow in the family lot in Tyler cemetery in Vernon.
