She was born in St. Albans on January 5, 1935 to the late Henry and Evelyn Letourneau.

Jean married the love of her life, Jerry Lamphere on May 30, 1956, and they made their home in Swanton. She and Jerry had a perfect family of three children. Jean was very outgoing and was often referred to as a “social butterfly” because of her wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed many rounds of golf at the Champlain Country Club. When she wasn’t tending to her flower gardens at home, she would volunteer her time at the country club where she also manicured their beautiful flower gardens. She looked forward to tulips, as they were the first flowers in the spring to bloom! She was a fabulous cook and loved to feed her family. Her lasagna, macaroni and cheese, and beef stroganoff will certainly be missed. Jean was fulfilled by helping others, she volunteered for several organizations within her community. When she wasn’t helping others, she loved to read, dance, and play cards. She will be missed immensely by all who knew her, but her family is at peace knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband Jerry on his birthday.

She is survived by her children, John Lamphere and his wife Lisa Gagne of Jefferson, NH, Jeff Lamphere and his wife Cara Medved of Williston, and Jennifer Horton and her husband Sean of Georgia; grandchildren, Hunter Lamphere, Olivia Horton, Sierra Lamphere, Julia Horton, Isabel Lamphere, and Jack Lamphere; and several special friends. Besides her parents, Jean was predeceased by her husband, Girard “Jerry” Lamphere in 1997.

Family and friends are invited to Jean’s Life Celebration events to include visitation on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 4:00-6:00PM at the Goss Life Celebration Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton, VT 05488. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 2:00PM at the Church of the Nativity, 65 Canada St., Swanton. Interment will immediately follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Swanton.

ObituaryMay 31, 2021  OBITUARY: SHELDON – Michael “Mike” L. Jutras, age 64, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 28, 2021. Mike was doing what he loved – working with his tractor to prepare this year’s food plot for deer hunting.

He was born June 8, 1956 in St. Albans to the late Roland & Elaine (Kittell) Jutras.

Mike was a hard-working farmer, outdoorsmen, and barbeque pit master. He loved working with animals and in the field; for 32 years he worked for the Howrigan Brothers at their Swanton farm, and later he worked for Mark & Kelly Stone in Fairfield. As an outdoorsmen, when it wasn’t hunting season, Mike was either preparing for hunting season, or talking about hunting season. It was a passion he was happy to share with others throughout his time with the Franklin County Sportsmen Club. Mike’s reputation precedes him as a pit master. He loved to barbeque, especially with his grandson Thomas, and he turned that love into a business – BBQ Roasters.

He is survived by his wife, Donna (Miles) Jutras of Sheldon; their children, Jason Jutras of Berkshire, and Jessica Jutras and her significant other Travis Rushford of Sheldon; a special grandson, Thomas Jutras of Sheldon; his four sisters, Michele Jutras of Enosburg, Dawn Paquin of New Hampshire, Ann Jutras of Sheldon, and Allyson Jutras of Fairfield; brother-in-law, Junior Miles of Enosburg; the brother he never had, Kevin Parah of Swanton; his beloved dogs, Midnite & Remi; and several nieces & nephews. Mike was predeceased by his parents, Roland & Elaine Jutras; mother and father in-law, Alvin Sr. & Evelyn Miles; siblings-in-law, Carol Miles, Bonnie Miles, and Richard & Shelba Prive; a nephew, Scott Prive; a great-great niece, Ryleigh St. Pierre; and his faithful companion, Moonlite.

Friends and family are invited to attend Mike’s Life Celebration to include a memorial service at 5:00 PM followed by a pot-luck barbeque on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the Goss-Spears Life Celebration Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls, VT. He was born in Black Falls Montgomery on February 7, 1951 to the late David and Charlotte (Bolt) Deuso.

Ed grew up on his family’s farm in Montgomery and attended Montgomery Elementary School and Enosburg Falls High School. Ed was a strong believer in a hard day’s work and exemplified this work ethic in all his professional endeavors. As soon as he was old enough, he joined the Army National Guard where he proudly served for 40 years. He also worked for the Vermont State Agency of Transportation for 35 years, and 15 years at Paragon Systems as a security guard, and full time Papa. He was incredibly knowledgeable in many fields making him a vital resource to his family and friends.

When Ed wasn’t working you could find him trout fishing or hunting usually with Griffin, driving his pontoon boat around the lake, maintaining his immaculate lawn, or watching TV cheering on his favorite republican candidate, NASCAR racer, or baseball team- the Yankees. Above everything, Ed treasured his family and embraced every moment with them. He will be remembered for his hard work ethic, his caring heart and his ability to tell it like it is.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Donna Deuso of Highgate; daughters, Gina LeClair and her husband Luke of South Hero, and Lisa Deuso and one very special grandson, Griffin Deuso of St. Albans; siblings, David “Buddy” Deuso and his wife Sharon of Fairfax, Jeannie West and her husband Larry of Enosburg Falls, and Michael Deuso and his wife Mary of Montgomery Center; mother-in-law, Alice Patterson; brother-in-law, Bruce Patterson and his wife Sharon; nieces and nephews, Steve Deuso and his wife Risé, Justin Deuso, Joshua West and his wife Kathryn “Kat”, Jessica Eagles and her husband Duane, Kaitlin Benoit and her husband Jake, Kelsi Larivee and her husband Seth, Heather Klee and her husband Matt, Nicky Patterson, Steve, Joseph, Michael, and Russell Knapp; several great nieces and nephews; and all of his Facebook Buddies. Besides his parents, Edward was predeceased by his father-in-law, Max Patterson; sister-in-law, Shirley Knapp; many cousins; special cousin, Bruce Bolt; nephew Dennis Deuso; an infant brother; and his favorite four-legged companion, Tucker.

Family and friends are invited to Edward’s Life Celebration events on Thursday, July 22, 2021, to include visitation from 3:00- 5:00 PM with a memorial service and military honors to follow at 5:00 PM at the Goss-Spears Life Celebration Home, 96 Dickenson Ave., Enosburg Falls, VT 05450.

Her 8 children Byan and his wife Peggy Moulton of Coventry, Vermont, Joann Mcdonald of North Carolina, Barry Moulton of Troy Vermont, Jerry and his wife Suzie Moulton of Holland, Vermont, Britt (Tim) and wife Jennifer Moulton of W. Charleston, Jay (Terry) Moulton of E. Charleston, Blair (Tom) and wife Tammy Moulton of E. Charleston and Jana Backiel and husband Rick of North Carolina. Geraldine has 24 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Geraldine was predeceased by the following. Brother Preston and his wife Jean, Brother Bernard and wife Madeline, Sister Madeline and husband Gerald, Sister Nataline and husband Ira, and sister in law Audrey Charland, also by son in law Larry Mcdonald.

There will be no funeral services as of Geraldine’s wishes. There will be a graveside memorial on Tripp hill where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Earl at the convenience of the family.

Mr. Moulton owned and operated a dairy farm in East Charleston for many years. He was a lifetime and charter member of the Charleston Fire Department. He loved to hunt wildlife, and he enjoyed working in the woods with his horses logging around the East Charleston area. He is survived by his wife Geraldine Moulton of East Charleston, eight children: Byan Moulton and his wife Margaret of Coventry, JoAnn Moulton -McDonald and her husband Larry of Florida, Barry Moulton of Island Pond, Jerry Moulton and his wife Suzanne of Holland, Britt Moulton of West Charleston, Jay Moulton of East Charleston, Blair Moulton and his wife Tammy of East Charleston, Jana Moulton-Berry of Lyndonville, 23 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister Alice Davis of East Charleston, sisters-in-law, Sylvia Moulton of East Charleston, Natalie Moulton of East Charleston, and Nancy Moulton of Brunswick,Vt, and by several nieces and nephews.
