Donald is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Scott, Chad, Spencer, Aidan, Brytani, Taylor, Riley, Andrea, Nicholas, Amanda, Bryce, Andrew and Erin; his siblings, Robert Elsner, James Elsner and Noble Elsner, as well as numerous sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009 at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez St., Prescott, AZ 86302.

She was born June 10, 1948 in St. Albans to the late Robert & Phyllis (King) Waterhouse.

Ellie graduated from Richford High School in 1966 and married Roger Fournier on June 18th of that same year.
They lived in Berkshire and Derby for a short time before buying the farm in 1968 on Pigeon Hill Road in Franklin. She would wake up early each morning and head to the barn to milk the cows, then she would be off to work in the field or wherever she was needed for the day, and then back to the cows for the evening milking. Somewhere in between, she would make sure the house was clean, meals were prepared and the bills were paid. Despite the long days running the farm with Roger, she found time to sew the kids a new dress, teach them how to drive, bring them to the rink for roller skating or to the "front of the lake" for a late night swim after chores. Ellie also taught them how to make the best homemade bread and peanut butter fudge! She also loved to waitress at her sister Carey’s dinner. Ellie’s home was always warm and welcoming and she cherished the time spent with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Fournier of Franklin; their children, Grace “Rena” Menard and her husband Gary of St. Charles, MO, Judi Rainville and her husband John of Franklin, Emily Clough and her husband Chad of West Hartford, VT and R.J. Fournier and his wife Dawn of Franklin; grandchildren, Selena and her husband Matthew, Maria and her fiancé Brice, Jake, Lexa, Haley, Sadie, Luc, Keeleigh, Logan, Lillianna and Ben; her siblings, Carey Hemond of Richford, John Waterhouse of Berkshire, Kim Waterhouse and his wife Sharon of Lewiston, ID, Mark Waterhouse and his wife Sharon of Richford; a very special god daughter, Diane (Brown) Bean and her family; her very special friend Connie Ladieu and several nieces, nephews and close friends. Besides her parents, Grace was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Debbie Waterhouse.

Ellie’s family would like to give a special thank you to all her caregivers that helped keep her at home over the past several years.

A funeral service will be Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 12:00 PM at the Fournier Farm, 1001 Pigeon Hill Rd., Franklin, VT with Pastor Patrick Hoadley officiating. Interment will follow on the farm. Visitation will be held at the farm from 10:30AM until the hour of the funeral.

Friends are invited to join the family for a pot-luck dinner at the farm immediately following the burial.

ObituaryOct 1, 2018  OBITUARY: It is with great sadness that the family of Earl Percy Lucas announces his passing on Monday, September 24, 2018, after battling pancreatic cancer. He was 77 years old. Even though the family grieves, we have great comfort in knowing that Earl believed and served our Lord Jesus Christ and believe confidently that he is enjoying a heavenly home.

Earl will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Janet Lucas and their children Daniel (Renee) Lucas, Sarah (Toby) Malphurs, and Andrew (Gina) Lucas. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren: Joshua Cook, Erik Lucas, Reagan Lucas, and Joseph "Joey" Malphurs as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by his youngest brother Percy (Linda) Lucas and sisters-in-law Sylvia Lucas and Cecile Lucas. Earl was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Rose Lucas, his brothers Albert Lucas and Leonard Lucas, and his sisters Pearl (Roger) Favreau and Shirley Lucas.

Born on September 1, 1941, in Derby, VT, Earl was one of six children. He served as a cook in the US Air Force and was honorably discharged. Those that knew him well remember his tremendous passion for cooking and gardening; he was a chef and owner of a couple of restaurants, including The Wagon Wheel in downtown Newport, VT. In 1979, he moved the family from Vermont to Florida. He worked at Morrison's Cafeteria, Oaks Mall, Gainesville, FL, until retirement. Earl was a member of Orange Heights Baptist Church in Hawthorne, FL, and served as a deacon for many years. He used his gift of cooking as an outreach and service ministry to care for others by simply sharing meals.

Earl will be remembered by a service at Orange Heights Baptist Church (16700 FL-26, Hawthorne, FL 32640) on Saturday, October 6th at 11 am. The family would like to thank the community for such an outpouring of love. We ask that in lieu of flowers please send donations to the Building Fund at Orange Heights Baptist Church or Haven Hospice, in memory of Earl Lucas.

She will also be fondly remembered as “Nana” by her grandchildren: Joshua Cook, Erik Lucas, Reagan Lucas, and Joseph “Joey” Malphurs.

Born on March 10, 1945, in New London, CT, Jackie was an only child to Charles G. Buckland and Marion Louise Buckland Coleman. She was a graduate of Castleton University in Castleton, VT. She was a housewife to her three children as well as numerous foster children in Newport, VT.

In 1979, the family moved from Vermont to Florida. Jackie served as a Residential Manager/Occupational Therapist at Tacachale Disability Center in Gainesville, FL, for 30 years until retirement, which is the oldest and largest community for Floridians with developmental disabilities. Jackie was a member of Orange Heights Baptist Church in Hawthorne, FL, and truly enjoyed her church family there, especially her fellow Sisters in Christ.

She loved to cook and made the best potato salad (her favorite) on the planet. She was also a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Jackie will be remembered through two services. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Orange Heights Baptist Church (16700 FL-26, Hawthorne, FL 32640) on Saturday, September 9 at 11 am.
