Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Crosier worked on the family poultry farm in Halifax and also at Library of Rose Wilder Lane, daughter of Laura Ingalls Wilder. She was a member of the Halifax Union Society Church and the Dummerston Congregational Church. She was a member of the PTC, the Home Den, and was a ballot clerk for elections for many years in Halifax. She enjoyed cooking, flowers, gardening, and collecting souvenir spoons from trips to Maine, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Florida. She leaves her husband, Ernest Crosier, whom she married Aug. 15, 1947; her daughter, Carol Crosier of Halifax, and a sister, Arina Amidon of Brattleboro. She was predeceased by a brother, Sebastian Visser, and by three sisters, Johanna Dessaint, Nellie White, and Mary Ashworth. FUNERAL NOTICE: Graveside services will be Saturday, Nov. 1, at 11 a.m. at Christ Church Cemetery in Guilford with the Rev. Lynda Hadley officiating.
