Born in Barre, VT on March 25, 1913, the daughter of the late Primo and Alfonsa (Zambelli) Domenichelli, she was raised and schooled in Barre and graduated from Spaulding High School. Lea has been a resident of Chicopee for the past 63 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years Edward C. Young Sr. who died August of 1999. The most important aspect in Lea's life was her family came first. Her love for her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren was her greatest joy and she will be sadly missed by them.

She is survived by 2 sons, Edward C. Young Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL, George W. Young of Chicopee, MA; a daughter, Barbara Orwat of Chicopee, MA; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A graveside service for Lea will be held on Saturday April 10, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in Hope Cemetery Barre, Vermont. There were no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army P.O. Box 971, 170 Pearl Street Springfield, MA 01101. Sampson Family Chapels is entrusted with the arrangements.

ObituaryMar 11, 2002  OBITUARY: SWANTON -- Norman R. Lovelette, age 76, died Sunday, March 10, 2002, at his home following a long illness with diabetes.was born in Richford Dec. 25, 1925, the son of the late Merritt B. and Mildred L. (Domina) Lovelette.
Norman attended school in Richford then entered the U.S. Army in 1944 to serve during WWII. Following his honorable discharge he attended Burlington Business College graduating in 1950. He then was employed at Atlas Plywood in Houlton, ME for two years and then transferred to their Richford Plant and worked there for eight years. He then was employed at the Missisquoi Pulp Mill in Sheldon for 33 years retiring in 1986. Following retirement he moved back to Richford where he became active in Town Affairs serving as Lister, Village Trustee and Water Commissioner. In 1994 he moved to St. Albans and for the past few years made his home in Swanton.
Norman was very active in Little League and Babe Ruth baseball. in 1993 he received the Governor's Award for Community Service. He was a member of the American Legion Post #88 of Sheldon, Richford Lions Club and served on the Northwestern Medical Center Incorporated Board.
Since 1993 Norman lived with diabetes and kidney failure and fought to live on dialysis. Both legs amputated, Norman still was very active and went to all sports events that he could. The love of his children, grandchildren and family members kept him going. He loved his camp and spending summers at Fairfield Pond.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne (Cyr) Lovelette of Swanton; four sons and their wives Phillip and Sandra Lovelette of Enosburg Falls, Timothy and Roxanne Lovelette of Broadrun, V.A., Terry and Mary Lovelette and John and Sarah Lovelette both of St. Albans; one daughter and her husband, Nancy and Dean Zottos of Epping, N.H; 13 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; six brothers and sisters and their spouses, Loren and Velma Lovelette of Raymond, M.E., Allen and Janice Lovelette of Presque Isle, M.E., Lawrence and Judith Lovelette of Swanton, Janice Gale of Burlington, and Sally and Dexter Ovitt of Daytona Beach, Fla; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, Merritt, Leland, Malcolm and Robert Lovelette; two sisters, Virginia Lovelette and Beverly Duso.
Funderal services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Richford with Rev. Frank Eksterowicz and Fater Leonidas Laroche co-celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be held next spring in the Hillside Cemetery in Richford.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Spears Funeral Home on 96 Dickinson Ave. in Enosburg Falls.

He was a resident of Richford most of his life and for the past 14 years a resident of Berkshire and a member of the Richford First Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran and has been employed by the H. K. Webster Co. for 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Domina) Lovelette; one son, Robert Lovelette Jr. of Berkshire; two daughters, Miss Tammy Lovelette and Miss Kelly Lovelette, both of Berkshire; seven brothers, Merritt of St. Albans, Leland of Kaneohe, Hawaii, Norman of Sheldon Springs, Loren of Whitestone, NY, Malcolm of Mary Ester, Fl, Allen of Presque Isle, Maine, and Lawrence Lovelette of St. Albans; three sisters, Mrs. Robert (Beverly) Duso of Enosburg Falls, Mrs. Janice Gale of Burlington and Mrs. Dexter (Sally) Ovitt of Fairfax; one grandson and several nieces ad nephews. A sister, Virginia Lovelette, predeceased him in 1980.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Richford First Baptist Church with the Rev. Irving Rose officiating. Burial will be later this spring in Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Spears Funeral Home, 140 Main St., Richford, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

ObituaryMar 5, 2012  OBITUARY: Lawrence Lovelette Sr. 73, passed away March 2, at Northwestern Medical Center, after a yearlong battle with lung cancer, with his family at his side.

Lawrence (Butch) was born in Richford, Sept. 5, 1938, one of 12 children of the late Merritt and Mildred (Domina) Lovelette. He graduated from Richford High School in 1957, joined the Army serving in Fort Bragg, NC and Germany. Butch was employed at the Missisquoi Paper Mill in Sheldon for over 30 years, retiring in 2000 to his home on the Sheldon Rd. He was an avid outdoorsman.

Butch is survived by his wife of 49 years, Judith (Lumbra) Lovelette, daughter, Heidi (Marcel) Breton of Peru, NY, his son, Lawrence Jr. (Julie) of St. Albans and son, Christopher of Shelburne. Surviving grandchildren are Kaitlyn, Megan, and Nicole Breton, Kelsie and Brandon Lovelette. He is also survived by siblings: Allen (Janice) Lovelette of Bangor, Maine, Janice Gale of Burlington, and Sally (Dexter) Ovitt of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.

He was predeceased by siblings,Virginia, Merritt (Buster), Leland (Hoover), Norman, Loren, Malcolm(Mackie), Beverly Duso, Robert (Joe) and brother-in-law, Bill Gale.

Surviving in-laws: Olive, Eleanor, Yvonne,and Velma Lovelette and Robert Duso; several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank Drs. Grunberg and Rowland and their staff of Fletcher Allen for their care and concern and the nurses of Northwestern Medical Center for their comfort care as well as the Franklin County Home Health Agency.

Visiting hours are on Tuesday from 4-7 PM at the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home, 86 South Main St., St. Albans, and the funeral is at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 am.
