ObituaryApr 5, 2012  OBITUARY: Francis “Frank” Raymond, 94, of Leominster died Wednesday April 4, 2012 in Leominster Crossings. He was born on September 21, 1917 in Wallingford, VT, was the son of Frank C. and Laura (Bodah) Raymond. He worked in construction for many years building houses in Vermont. He was a Master craftsman at the Springfield, MA Armory during WWII. He retired from the plastics industry in 1982. Besides spending time with his family he loved going to Rockingham Park and Saratoga. He was a life long Red Sox Fan looking forward to opening day every year. In his later years he enjoyed cribbage and dominos with his special friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Leominster Crossing and Beacon Hospice for their exceptional care. He is survived by a daughter Patricia Everson and her husband Herbert of Fitchburg, three sisters Margaret Sanford, Gladys Blake, and Doris Bisciglia, his grandchildren Linda Solywoda of Leomisnter, Paul Everson and his wife Karen of Clinton, and his great-grandchildren Jason Solywoda of Gardner, Lyndsay Solywoda of Leominster, three nephews Michael, Charles and James Sanford of Tuscon, AZ. He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn L. (Briggs) Raymond who died April 5, 2009.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Wright-Roy Funeral Home 109 West St Leominster is directing arrangements.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
