On September 22, 1952, she married Orison Hoadley Sr., who predeceased her.
She loved bingo, the Boston Red Sox, and NASCAR, with her favorite driver being Jeff Gordon. She loved fishing, playing cards, going to Foxwoods Casino, and crocheting.
She is survived by her children: Orison Hoadley Jr. and his wife, Judy, Ronald Hoadley and his wife, Theresa, Barb Warner and Cecil, Becky Danforth and Paul, and Stephen and Robie Hoadley; by grandchildren: Lindsay, Brenda, Doug, Joe, Christina, David, Daniel, David, Ben, Ashley, Kelly, and Annie; by 15 great-grandchildren; by her brother Reginald "Joe" Stevens and his wife, Betty, of Kentucky; by special friend Irene; and by newfound friend Mary. She was predeceased by an infant son, Casey; by grandson O.J; and by her companion Gordon Sargent.
Funeral services were held November 22 with Pastor George Lawson officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Brownington Center Cemetery.

ObituaryOct 4, 2011  OBITUARY: GEORGIA / FRANKLIN - Mr. Wayne Edward Mullen, age 89 years, a longtime resident of the Georgia Highbridge Road, died Monday morning, Oct. 3, 2011, in the Fletcher Allen Health Care facility, following a long battle with emphysema.
Born in Saint Albans on May 11, 1922, he was the son of the late Arthur and Ethelyn (Moore) Mullen.
was a graduate of the former Franklin High School and on Aug. 18, 1943, was married to Dorothy Hoadley, who predeceased him on March 26, 1994.
For most of his working life Wayne owned and operated dairy farms in Franklin and West Berkshire, and following his retirement from farming settled with his family in Deland, Fla. He later returned to Georgia, Vt., where he has resided ever since. He was an avid hunter who loved the outdoors, gardening and his camp at Lake Carmi. He will be remembered for his good nature and sharp wit. He was also well-known throughout the area for the meticulous care he took of his home and lawn. He was a longtime member of the Georgia United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Dorothy, Wayne was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Connie Mullen, on April 28, 2011; and by his brother, Charles Mullen.
Wayne leaves his two sons, Alan E. Mullen of Georgia and A. Jay Mullen and his wife, Elizabeth, of Morgantown, W.V; three grandchildren, Steven Mullen, Linda LaPierre and Michael Mullen; eight great grandchildren; and several nephews. He is also survived by a very close friend, Patricia Colburn of Georgia.
A funeral service will be held Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at 11 a.m. from the Georgia United Methodist Church with Pastor Hyung-Kyu Yi officiating.

A reception for family and friends will immediately follow the service in the fellowship hall.
Interment will take place Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at the family lot in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Square Road, Franklin. Friends may call at The Kidder Memorial Home on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. To offer online condolences, please visit: www.kiddermemorialhome.com.
