He is survived by his wife, Margaret "Maggie" (Lamoureux) Elkins of Montgomery; son, Clay Elkins and his partner Guillermo Barrantes of Boston, MA; daughter, Kelly Maxfield and her husband Kevin of Johnson; grandchildren, Emma Roger, Michael & Jonathan Maxfield; his sisters and their husbands, Maxine & Warren Farrar of Richford and Janice & James Adams of Fairfield; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Mike was predeceased by his sister, Deanna Carr.

In keeping with Mike's wishes there will be no funeral service or visiting hours.
