ObituaryJan 16, 1991  OBITUARY: EAST WENATCHEE - a former Vancouver resident Henry "Hank" William Schoenmakers, 76, died Sunday, Jan 13, in Seattle. He had lived in Vancouver until moving to East Wenatchee 20 years ago.

Mr. Schoenmakers had worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad in Vancouver and moved to Wenatchee in the late 1960s. He worked as a landscaper in Wenatchee. He was born 27 jul 1914, in Wenatchee.

His first wife, Norma died in 1979.

Survivors include his widow Mabel, at home; one daughted, Katherine M. Schoenmakers; three stepdaughters, Penny Pithard and Sharon Boyton, both of Vancouver, and Patricia Henson of Cashmere, Wash., two sons, William J. and Vincent, both of Vancouver, six stepsons, Michael Schoenmakers of Las Vegas, Nev., Jack Akers of Wenatchee, Richard Akers of Yakima, Leslie Akers of Auburn, Earl Akers of Puyallup and Chuck Akers of East Wenatchee; one brother, John Schoenmakers of Kent; three sisters, Margaret McKay of Maple Valley, Ann Watchsmann of Oakland, Calif., and Doris Schoenmakers of Kent; 24 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be a 2 p.m. Friday in East Menatchee at the Telford Chapel of the Valley in Wenatchee.
