Mr Peabody was born in New Boston, N.H. His wife died last September. There are no children living. He leaves a brother, Frank J of Henniker, N.H.
Arrangements have been made for the removal of the body to Amherst, N.H. The funeral will take place at the home of Mr Peabody.

On April 30, 1927, she married James B. Akers at Greenup, Ky., where they made their first home. In 1930, they moved to East Wenatchee where she was a homemaker and worked at various packing sheds in the Wenatchee Valley.

On July 24, 1976, she married Henry William "Hank" Schoenmakers at Wenatchee, and they made their home in East Wenatchee.

Mabel spent many years attending the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include five sons, Jack Akers, Wenatchee, Richard Akers, Yakima, Leslie Akers, Auburn, Earl Akers, Puyallup, and Chuck Akers, East Wenatchee; one daughter, Patricia Henson, Cashmere; three sisters, Lucy Soward, Ohio, and Belva Purcell and Evelyn Tackett, both of Wenatchee; 18 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hank, in 1991, two brothers and two sisters.

ObituarySep 27, 2015  OBITUARY: FRANKLIN - Janet T. Magnant, age 83, passed away after a brief illness on Friday, September 25, 2015 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.

She was born in St. Albans on February 14, 1932 to the late Merrill Magnant & Lucy (Perrotte) Garrow.

Janet spent her working career at Union Carbide in St. Albans. After retirement she became the full time care giver to her mother and step-father, Harland until their passing. She enjoyed traveling, especially on her various bus trips as well as 2 trips to Scotland. Janet was a giving person that would do anything for anybody; she was always willing to bring someone to church or an appointment. Her favorite hobby was playing cards and she would attend several card parties around the area.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Wright of St. Albans; 2 nieces, Kathy Beaudoin and her husband Greg of Jeffersonville and Debra Swan and her husband Gary of Colchester; great niece & nephews, Ashley, Garrett and Erik; close friends, Lorraine Longley and Sue Richards and several others. Besides her parents, Janet was predeceased by her step-father, Harland Garrow.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, School St., Franklin. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Franklin.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015 from 4-7 at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.
