Rocheleau, 84, a lifelong area resident, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, at Northwestern Medical Center following a long illness with his family at his side. He was born in Swanton, Vt. on Oct. 22, 1921, the son of the late Olores and Laura (Laroque) Rocheleau. On Aug. 15, 1942, in Holy Angels Church, Gerard married the former Mildred Bessette, who survives him.

Gerard served his country during World War II in the U.S. Air Force. He then retired from the Central Vermont Railroad after 37 years of service. Gerard was a member of Green Mountain Post 1, American Legion, St. Albans Lodge 1566, B.P.O.E., Holy Angels Parish, Champlain Country Club and the Central Vermont Railway Veterans Association and U.T.U. He spent his retirement winters in Orange City, Fla., loved to golf, was an avid gardener and was an entrepreneur of many delights.

Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Millie Rocheleau of St. Albans; his five children: Mr. & Mrs. Norman (Marie Ann Rocheleau) Boucher of Cape Canaveral, Fla. and their sons, Michael Boucher, Dr. Matthew Boucher and his wife, Dr. Danielle Boucher and Jeffrey Boucher and his wife, Leslie, Mr. & Mrs. Dennis (Carolyn Rocheleau) Yandow of St. Albans and their children, Selina Bartemy and her husband, Ron, Anthony Yandow and his wife, Tracy, Mr. & Mrs.?Steven and Martha Rocheleau of St. Albans and their children, Nicole Ward and her husband, Carl, Jason Rocheleau and his wife, Cathy, Mr. & Mrs. Lewis (Linda Rocheleau) Mitchell of St. Albans and their children, Tammy Yates and her husband, Tom, Christopher Pigeon and Amanda and two step-children, Kevin Mitchell and Kathy Mathieu, The Reverend & Mrs. Craig (Candace Rocheleau) Smith of Shelburne and their children, Laura Smith and Karen Smith; his sister, Jane Tatro of Sheldon; his brother, Roger Rocheleau of Weathersfield, Conn; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.? In addition to his parents, Orlores and Laura, Gerard was predeceased by his brothers, Marcel (Mac) Rocheleau, Gaston Rocheleau; and his sister, Germaine Rocheleau.

The family extends their gratitude for the wonderful care given by the staff of Franklin County Rehab, Dr. Frank Zsoldos and the nursing staff and comfort care of Northwestern Medical Center.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005, at 11 a.m. in Holy Angels Catholic Church, Lake Street. Interment will be in the family lot at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Gerard's family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main St., St. Albans.

Lyle was born on January 18, 1933 in Richford, the son of Lawrence and Louise (Pollender) Rushlow. He was a 1951 graduate of Richford High School and had resided in Richford for most of his life. While in school, Lyle was an active basketball and baseball player. In 1952, Lyle met and married Joyce Lumbra. From 1983-2000, Lyle lived in Burlington and from 2000 until the present he has resided in Milton. He had worked at many occupations and retired from IBM in 1995. Lyle was passionate about and active in many sports including coaching Little League, boxing in Golden Gloves, bowling and watching the Celtics and Red Sox on TV. Lyle leaves his loving wife and devoted caregiver, Joyce of Milton; his sons Kris of Milton, Kurt of Killeen, TX, Kent and his wife Robin of Franklin; his daughters Pamela of Swanton and Melody of Los Angeles, CA; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and a daughter-in-law Holly Rushlow of Richford. In addition to his parents, Lyle was predeceased by a sister Loretta Fecteau and sons Kevin, Kim, Kerry and Keith. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Milton with Rev. John G. Feltz officiating. Interment will take place in the spring in All Saints Cemetery in Richford. There are no calling hours planned. ObituaryJun 14, 2005  OBITUARY: ST. ALBANS CITY / SWANTON - Anthony Keith Duprey, 57, a resident of 139 South Main St. in St. Albans City and a native of the Swanton and Highgate Springs areas, died Monday morning, June 13, 2005, in the Haven Health Center in St. Albans Town.

Born at home in Highgate Springs on June 28, 1947, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Ruth (Warner) Duprey.

He attended Swanton Public Schools and for over 20 years worked at the former Champlain Cable Company in Colchester. He most recently has been associated as a groundskeeper for the Champlain Country Club in Swanton.

Tony leaves four daughters: Melody Barratt, Tina Lapan and her husband, David, Holly Therrien and her husband, David and Ruth Hazard and her husband, D.J; and a brother, Gene Duprey and his wife, Hilda, all of Swanton; six grandchildren: Crystal Gordon, Kyle and Nathan Lapan, Samantha and Christopher Therrien and Justin Hazard; as well as several nieces, nephews and many special friends.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 16, 2005, at 11 a.m. from the Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton. Father John J. Meagher, SSE will officiate. Interment will follow in the Duprey family lot in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until the hour of the funeral.

Gifts in Tony's memory may be made to the Franklin County Home Health Agency-Hospice Program, 3 Home Health Circle, St. Albans, 05478.
