ObituaryNov 28, 1969  OBITUARY: BAKERSFIELD - Mrs. Sylvia K. Tillotson, 65, widow of Harry L. Tillotson, died Thursday morning in a Burlington hospital following a long illness.

Mrs. Tillotson was born in Fletcher, Nov. 16 1904, the daughter of the late Elmer and Esther (Ranney) Taylor.

She was a resident of Bakersfield most of her life and was a member of the Methodist Church.

She leaves one son, Wendell E. Tillotson of Enosburg Falls; two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Marjorie) Rich of West Lebanon, N.H., and Mrs. Arnold (Freida) Perry of Colchester; one sister, Mrs. Henry (Elthema) Lawyer of Bakersfield; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The body will remain at the Spears Funeral Home, 14 Orchard St., Enosburg Falls, where friends may call this afternoon 2-4 and evening 7-9. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Bakersfield Methodist Church with the Rev. Clark S. Peloubet officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bakersfield. Spears Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
