ObituaryJun 19, 2022  OBITUARY: Mrs. Ruth (McQuesten) Huckins, 99, of Pittsfield, passed away on June 13, 2022 at the Epsom Healthcare Center with her beloved husband by her side after a period of declining health.

A lifelong resident of Pittsfield, Ruth was the daughter of the late James and Lura (Buffum) McQuesten. She was a graduate of Pittsfield High School and later attended the Forsyth Training School for Dental Hygienists in Boston.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed for many years as a hygienist for the office of Dr. Auger.

Ruth was a talented floral arranger. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and they especially enjoyed visits to the Amish country and the beach.

She was predeceased by her sister, Virginia Dunn.

Ruth is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 71 years, Gordon "Tom" Huckins as well as her many beloved nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours. Following a private family service, a Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, June 26th at 3:15 P.M. in Floral Park Cemetery in Pittsfield.
