Joanne graduated from Wallingford High School in 1971. She was employed by the Vermont Country Store. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and especially enjoyed her vacations in Boothbay, Maine.

Joanne is survived by her parents and sons: Jesse LaFrancis of Texas; Christopher (Vicky) LaFrancis and their children Emily and Dylan of Nebraska; Brent (Dianne) LaFrancis and their children Kayla, Olivia, Bridgette and Brent Jr. of Texas; and Ryan (Heather) LaFrancis and their children Makenzie and Aiden of North Carolina.

Joanne is also survived by a sister, Marjorie (Thomas) Barone of East Wallingford; and brother, Kevin Bumps of Mount Holly; and special friends, Linda Dunn and her husband Frank of Rutland.

Joanne was predeceased by her husband, Alan F. Greenwood, in 2005 and her infant brother, William, in 1958.

There will be no public memorial service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rutland County Humane Society, 765 Stevens Road, Pittsford, VT 05763.
