She was born in Swanzey, NH on September 4, 1922 the daughter of Willard T. and Fannie (Rockwood) Whitcomb and had resided in Newport, Cornish and Claremont.
Margaret was co-owner of Whitcomb's Lobster Trap Co., was a bookkeeper for Owls Nest and St. Gaudens and was a personal care companion for Home Health Care. She had been the administrator for Pleasant Valley Estates.
She was a member of the 4-H Club of Newport & Cornish, the Girl Scouts of Cornish, the Episcopal Church of Newport and the First Congregational Church of Claremont and the Cornish Garden Club.
She enjoyed collecting miniatures, crocheting and loved her cats, Zeke and Maggie.
She was the widow of Randall C. Kenyon whom she married May 16, 1959 and he died Jan. 4, 1991.
The surviving family includes her long time special friend, Robert Maslan of Cornish; four sons, David Gokey and his wife Sharon of Unity, Donald Gokey and his wife Debbie of Rindge, Dexter Gokey of Unity and Dennis Gokey of Marianna, FL; four daughters, Dorothy Bennett and her husband Richard of Goshen, Diana Kempton of Claremont, Doreen Burnell and her husband Kenneth of Newbury, and Charleen Hastings and her husband David of Claremont; one step son, David C. Kenyon and his wife, Jan of Keene; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by two sisters, an infant Alice Whitcomb and Dorothy Finnie and one brother, Willard Whitcomb.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
Funeral services were held April 20th at Eleven O'clock in the First Congregational Church on Pleasant Street in Claremont with Rev. Dr. Winn
Alley, Pastor, officiating.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday afternoon, May 16th, 2007 at One O'clock in Comings Cemetery in Cornish.
The family suggest that donations may be made in her memory to the Randall & Margaret Kenyon Memorial Fund For The Arts, % Alan Damren, SAU 6 Office on Broad Street or the First Congregational Church, 72 Pleasant Street, both in Claremont, NH 03743.

Kenyon, who died Oct. 21, 2010 at Grace Home in Shreveport, LA., will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Windsor on Nov. 6, at 10 a.m. A service will be held at the Trinity Church Cemetery in Cornish, N.H. after the church service. There will be a reception following at St. Paul’s Church in Windsor. He was born in Windsor on Dec. 29, 1952, son of Arthur (Joe) Kenyon and Barbara (Garten) Kenyon of Cornish, N.H.
Dale attended Cornish Elementary School and Stevens High School in Claremont, N.H., graduating in 1971. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving proudly for 23 years. He also worked for Sam’s Town Hotel and Casino in Shreveport, LA for many years.
Dale married Jerri Lynn Peck; they had one child, Dale A., and later divorced. Dale married Rosemary Draper in 1982. He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father and grandfather and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Dale loved woodworking and made many beautiful things. He also loved his motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Rosemary Kenyon of Bossier City, LA; a son Eric B. Draper of Melbourne, Fla; daughter, Dominique (Draper) McNaight and her husband Terry of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren, Aidan and Felicity; son Dale A. (Kenyon) Pederson and his wife Julie of Claremont, N.H; father Arthur (Joe) Kenyon and his wife Flora of Cornish, N.H; sister, Joanne (Kenyon) Russell and her husband, Steven of Windsor; sister Carole (Kenyon) Rich of Windsor; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his mother; and older sister, Sherry Kenyon. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
