She is survived by four sons Randy Hannah of Conway, SC, Richard Whitcomb of Conway, SC, Albert Whitcomb of Hartland and Clifford of White River Jct, VT; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers Ronald, Lawrence and Nelson Bell; and nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in Christian Street cemetery in Hartford, VT.

She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1947. Georgette worked many years as a Dental Assistant in the area which was very rewarding since she enjoyed meeting and helping people.

Her main joys in life were her children, family, and friends that she kept close her entire life. They were all cherished by her.
Her hobbies included gardening, entertaining, cross country skiing, traveling with her friends, picking apples in the fall, and cooking for family gatherings. Georgette was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Troy, a former member of the Ladies Alter Society, Ladies First for Breast Cancer, Home Dem and at one time she taught CCD classes.

She is survived by her children: Patricia Laber and her husband Scott of Derby, VT, Susan Keysar and her husband Scott of Derby, VT, Thomas Tetreault and his wife Mary of Newport Center, VT, Margaret Derick and her husband Michael of Newport, VT, and Richard Tetreault and his wife Susan of Newport Center, VT, 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, by her siblings: Norbert Lessard and his wife Rita of Derby, VT, Sister Henriette Lessard of Littleton, NH, Eleanor Test and her husband Gene of FL, and Jeannine Lessard of Morrisville, VT and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 5 brothers: Paul, Dominique, John, Philip, and Jules Lessard and by two sisters: Laurence Lessard and Rita (Sister Rose Helen).

Friends may call on Friday August 1, 2014 at the Curtis-Britch-Converse-Rushford Funeral Home, 37 Lake Road, from 9:00-A.M.- 10:00 A.M. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday August 1, 2014 at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Troy with the Rev. Yvon Royer celebrating a mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Lowell, VT.
