She and Rollie lived in Waterbury until 1958 when they moved to Montpelier, where she worked at Heaton Hospital. in 1968 she became head medical-surgical nurse at CVH until her retirement in 1980. She was a member of the VT Nurses' Assn, the Montpelier Women's Club, and attended the First Baptist Church in Montpelier. She was also an RSVP volunteer, a hospice worker for CVHH&H, and assisted at clinics and Red Cross blood drawings. Hobbies included traveling, reading, knitting, gardening and her children.
