She is survived by her two sons: Collin Snay and his wife Ann of Newport Center, and Derrick Snay of Sheldon, and by her special grandchildren: Aiden and Jordan, her Uncle and Aunt, James and Rosemarie Hartley, cousins Jason and Ethan Hartley, and special cousin Raymond Laramie, and cousins of the Bouthillier family. She was predeceased her parents Thomas and Shirley Ann (Hartley) Bouthillier, her maternal grandparents Henry and Luminee (Lou) Hartley, and her paternal grandparents Bruce and Antoinette Bouthillier.

Diane graduated from North Country Union High School in the class of 1971. She was a waitress for many years for the Brown Cow in Newport, VT and the Brick Oven in Burlington, VT. Diane loved all animals, especially her dogs, Skooter and Wilson. Diane was loved by all who knew her.

Funeral service will be held at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church on Monday, August 1st, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Donations in Diane's memory may be made to the Frontier Animal Society, 502 Strawberry Acres, Newport, VT 05855.
