ObituaryMar 22, 1939  OBITUARY: George Weston Huntoon, 64, a Whitefield restauranteur, died suddenly of heart failure at his place of business Monday night. He was born in Landaff, New Hampshire, April 6, 1874 but has lived in Whitefield since 1910, where he worked at his trade of carpenter until eight years ago, when he entered the restaurant business.
He is married by the widow, Mrs. Grace Maxwell Huntoon, a son Frank, of Whitefield, a daughter, Mrs. Alice Jones of Moscow, Vt., two sisters, Mrs. Francis White of Whitefield and Miss Julia Martin and a brother, Carter Huntoon, both of Littleton, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the home of the son, Frank Huntoon, Thursday afternoon, with Dr. W.R. Locke and Rev. H.L. Seymour officiating, with burial in the cemetery on the Martin Meadow Pond road between Whitefield and Lancaster.
