On 9 January 1743 the Reformed minister at Eich, Germany wrote the Mennonites at Ibersheim requesting that they bring her child to be baptized at Eich. The Mennonites refused this request. Maria married Abraham Hackman in Ibersheim before 1754. She immigrated to America with her husband Abraham Hackman and her brother Abraham Brubacher in 1754.
